PHI-TAGgers
Phi-taggers are part of DELPHI Hermeticity
TAGgers project.
Pedestal data i.e. relevant values of pedestal mean and standard
deviation of each detector for given period of data taking are summarized
in the file $DELPHI_DAT/HERLIB.DAT.
More details see in the HERmeticity LIBrary = HERLIB
description.
Status of PHI-TAGgers in 1994-95 data taking periods is described in
the Internal Delphi Note 97-65 HERM-3
Study of all hermeticity counters with 1996 data has been presented
by M. Bigi on Delphi Forum 12/11/96.
The 1997 data are illustrated by following two pictures:
-
Pedestal subtracted pulse height spectra are shown on Fig.1.
-
and the PHI-TAGgers occupancy on Fig.2.
(A
counter with broken optical fibres is clearly seen for 30 s.d. cut.)
Use of Hermeticity counters in analysis has been discussed by A.Benvenuti
on
February 98 Delphi week.
For the 1998 data, PHI-TAGgers have been checked on hadronic events
and also on the 1998 Z0 sample. Pedestal subtracted pulse height spectra
and PHI-TAGgers occupancy of these 1998 samples are shown on Fig.3.
and
Fig.4.
respectivelly.
